Doctors Visit

Yesterday we went for our 7 month well visit. The poor babies had to get shots but Dr George said everyone is doing great.

Arianna is 14lbs 7 oz 25 inches long
Karl is 15 bs 7 oz 26 inches long
Gabriella 16lbs 4 oz 26 inches long

The babies are only in the 10-15 percentile for weight and 25th percentile for height. Dr George told us not to worry because if you back out the 6 weeks that they were born early they are on target for their adjusted age. I also got okay to feed them pretty much whatever we want but not to much dairy products. I have been giving them homemade baby food so it looks like they will be eating pretty much whatever we have for dinner providing its healthy.

We have a very busy weekend planned so I will update everyone as soon as I get a chance.

7 Months Today!!

I can't believe my beans are 7 months already. I guess I should be excited but I was so upset they are growing so quick before I know it they will be starting Kindergarten ;( We had a very busy weekend and its been in the 90's, humid, hot, and just yucky..Yesterday we had Jills baby shower it was a pool party. My mom was also invited which was a good thing because she helped me out with the kids and I was able to take them in the big pool for the first time. Karl loved it! He looked like a little frog kicking his little feet all around and going crazy, Gabriella just hung out in her little blow up toy and Arianna the one who loved to splash away in the bath cried bloody murder.
Today we took the kids to the zoo for the first time. We went around 4pm thinking it would cool down by then but heck no it was still so hot. We spent most of the time looking at the inside exhibits since they were air conditioned. Marcs friend Aly and her friend Robin came with us which was nice because they helped us with the kids and we used a double and single stroller we only got stopped 1 time by the "paparazzi". The beans didnt seem to interested in the animals I put Arianna and Gabriella right up to the glass window of the monkey exhibit and Arianna was too busy eating her strap on her stroller and Gabriella was busy drinking her bottle so neither of them noticed the monkeys. I was able to take a few pictures I will post them soon.

Okay I know I am skipping around but I figured I should give you all some info on the beans..

Arianna
Loves playing and eating her feet, smiling, laughing loudly while getting changed, baths, rolling all over the place, sleeping late in the mornings, teething cookies and getting lots of attention
Hates taking naps, eating green beans, peas and the big pool

Karl
Loves trying to pet the dogs, playing in his exersaucer, breaking out of his car seat or anything that I put him in for that matter, flirting with all the ladies, swimming in the pool, chewing on his feet, eating, drinking from a big boy cup and watching TV
Hates sitting still in the car (red lights, traffic, etc), getting his nose cleaned/sucked out, sharing mommy and daddy's lap with his sisters

Gabriella
Loves her Daddy, eating teething cookies, drinking from a big girl cup, sitting in her swing, playing with her feet, drinking from a straw, likes to cry 24/7, play airplane with Daddy
Hates playing on the floor alone, smiling, eating veggies, pacifiers,

We Have 3 Rollers!!!!

The BIG news of the week is Gabriella is finally rolling over!!!!!!! I was kinda secretly thinking something was wrong with her. Arianna has been rolling for over 2 months and Karl started rolling at least a month ago and my Gabriella showed no signs or interest. Let me tell you my Gabby held her cookie first and feed herself also she can drink out of a straw which the other beans cant do but something that required effort like roll over..umm nope she wouldn't even think of doing. I think she is going to take after me. So today we went to my mother in laws for dinner and I had all the kids on a blanket on the floor and she just rolled right over....woohoo!!!! So thats about it we didn't do much today so nothing else exciting went on.

Catching up...

Wow I cant believe I havent posted in almost 2 weeks, it seems like every time i log on to this site someone starts crying, the dogs want to go outside, the phone is ringing, my husband wants my attention.....the list just keeps going.....See and people wonder why I cant seem to eat dinner before 10-11 at night. So lets do some catching up! Memorial Day weekend we took the kids to Point Pleasant with Aunt Randi, Uncle Harold, Cousin Kayla and Cousin Karlie. The weather was perfect and we had a great time. Saturday we had Pat, Dawn and Alicia come over for a small bbq. I have to admit super mommy had a small meltdown during the day it was one of those non stop crying days for the trio and I felt like I had a million things to do to prepare. Once Marc got home the kids settled down as usual they just like to make me look bad and we had a nice time. Sunday-My mom came over and we went to my mother in laws house for a Chinese BBQ..dont ask..I have no idea why you would call it a bbq and then buy chinese food..whatever makes her happy i guess..Monday-My mom, the beans and i went to my sister in laws Randi's house for a bbq while Marc went to work. On the way to their house my mom made me stop at walmart so she could buy the kids a blow up pool. Ummm did I mention my kids dont sit up yet?? So I put the bumboo seats in the pool and it seemed to work out well until my wild and crazy niece Karlie splashed my kids and it all went down hill from that point. Tuesday-lots of family drama that I am still upset about it I want to try to keep this blog as positive as possible..hahaha but I also want to keep it directed towards the beans. Wednesday-family drama continued..Thursday-Woo-hoo Marc was off! We took Gabriella to a plastic surgeon. She had a small boil/abscess that needed to be drained but it was on her chin which is why we went to a plastic surgeon. Marc stayed in the room with her while they cut it open, I was in the waiting room with Arianna and Karl. As soon as they started the procedure Gabriella screamed so loud that we heard her in the waiting room so Arianna, Karl and mommy started crying just as loud. Its so awesome the bond that they have. Its like they feel each others pain. After that we went to Babies R us. I am officially going to boycott that place from this point forward. Why is it that every cashier seems to make their own rules?? When we walked into the store Marc went straight to customer service to do a return the lady said do your shopping and then come back so thats what we did...After waiting on line for about 10 minutes it was finally our turn the cashier does our return and then tells us the line is too long so we need to go to another register to purchase our stuff...I mean come on after listening to my kids scream, Marc pulling 2 shopping carts, our "paparazzi" asking a million questions about the kids, my stack of no joke about 15 coupons-we had to move?????? Then this cashier we went to wouldn't allow us to use more than 3 formula checks which I never heard of, he wouldn't let us use more than 1 15% off coupon per order. So we said fine okay since you want to make your own rules now ring everything up separate. Which he did but then he wouldnt let us use the same method of payment more than 3 times. Did I mention while shopping Arianna started crying and wouldn't stop? Marc was in one aisle and I was in another and some lady holding her over grown child that should have been walking said..boy how annoying is that baby crying?? I turned and said to her why dont you try leaving the house with 6 month old triplets and tell the babies not to say a word in the store..I was so pissed!! Why would you go to a baby store and not expect to hear babies crying?? So needless to say that trip to the store was more stressful than anything. Its now Tuesday and i feel like the weekend flew by and I cant recall what we did. Good news is tomorrow we have nothing on our schedule tomorrow so we can hang out at home all day!!!!!!!!!! Wooo-hooo!!!! If only I could get the kids to take a nap tomorrow :) I noticed this post is coming up with the wrong date-its June 3rd today.

Oh Man We Have Teeth Coming Soon!!

Today we went to the doctor with the kids because they have been very congested and yucky. Oh and not to mention all Miss Gabriella has been doing for the past week is crying from the minute she wakes up to the time she goes to bed. I have tried everything under the sun to make her stop from teething stuff to gas drops..if only she could talk!! Dr George told us she has 2 teeth about to break through great so once she is done screaming nonstop I guess I have Karl and Arianna to deal with. As far as the congestion part of it he said it looks like they are developing allergies (to pollen or the dogs) but its to early to test them. After the doctors I decided to go check out a new place that just opened called My Little Gym..I figured since the beans are 6 months now its time i start doing something with them. If anyone has any ideas on where to go please let me know because My Little Gym will not be the place unless I hit the lottery. For my trio it will cost a registration fee plus over $1,200..is that insane or what?? Maybe I should try opening up one of those places..Sorry beans for now you are going to have to stay home with mommy and dance like crazy maniacs to a bunch of hip hop music while Daddy is at work making money. I took a few pics of the kids today i cant wait to post them, I put these big girly headbands on my girls and not one stranger called them boys today. Sorry mom I know you hate them and say how tacky they are but I just feel so bad for my 2 girls when people call them boys even though they are clearly dressed in girly clothes. Well I guess thats about it for now.

Where has time gone?

Well as everyone can see I am awful at blogging. I mean the last time I posted was in Aug...okay so real quick I will try to catch everyone up to speed. In september we had our baby shower and we received so many gifts. Thank you mom for throwing the shower and thanks to everyone that gave us presents for the beans. Then in october things started going down hill-I had my first trip to L&D after the dumb ass residents try telling me nothing was wrong they ended up finding kidney stones then 3 weeks later I was back in L&D with gallstones once again the nurses told me it was heartburn or intergestion...i told the nurse HELLO do you see how far along I am with triplets dont you think I know the difference..Okay that brings us up to Nov-Well we went for my weekly visit to Dr G on Nov 6th I told him I had enough and I wanted the beaners out asap that my body couldnt take it anymore. After Dr G contacted the peri he agreed that Dr G could schedule my c-section providing I had an amenio the next day on Nov 7th to check the babies lung development. I was so scared just thinking of that huge needle going into my tummy and boy did it hurt but it went away in a few minutes. That night Marc and I were making a belly mold/cast thing I ordered online and we got the call from Dr G to be at the hospital tomorrow-Nov 8th at 7am and that we would begin surgery at 9am. You know I was so excited to finally meet the beans yet I was so nervous that I couldnt sleep and I was throwing up all night. Do you know my mom who is late for EVERYTHING actually got to the hospital at 7am with my sister and marcs mom also met us at labor and delivery as well. I laid in the hospital bed a nervous wreck waiting for 9am to come around and once it did no sign of Dr G...yeap see I know how to pick my doctors just like "me"...Dr G finally came in around 10:15 and he said he couldnt find parking..hahaha do i look that dumb? So once he came in they take me away to the OR, I got my spinal and after that I didnt feel a thing..Arianna was born at 10:50am, then Karl 10:51am and then Gabriella at 10:52am..Everyone was pretty much healthy and they stayed at the hospital in the NICU for 8 days to gain some weight because the hospital wouldn't let them come home until they hit 4 pounds..oh- karl and gabriella needed the tanning lights as I call them for jaudince..Arianna and Gabriella also needed some oxygen but they came off the machines within 2 days.

Okay so fast forward 6 months even though it seems like just yesterday I gave birth-I have 3 teething monsters!!!!! Yes I love them to death and I couldn't imagine my world without them. Arianna and Karl now roll over. Karl is on the move in his walker and he is a wild maniac. Gabriella is such a daddy's girl she cries all day, wants to be held and eats 24/7. Arianna thinks everything is funny no matter what you are saying to her and she is a sleepy head. Okay kids are crying so I will try to post more often and keep everyone updated.
